Key Requirement: Understanding "Fixed Income Portfolio Management" and prior experience in Asset Management or Financial Services is a must-have. + STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS.

Visa- GC-EAD, H1-B, -EAD

DL front and Back copy is mandatory with issue and expiry date

For H1-B candidates they must have minimum 3 years of US experience

Candidate must be ok for f2f interview if requested by client for the final round

Role- Business Analyst – Fixed Income Portfolio Management

Position Overview

Business Analyst supporting Fixed Income Portfolio Management, with a focus on Municipal Bonds, portfolio attributes, calculations, and investment data. The role will work closely with Portfolio Managers, data, and technology teams to translate investment requirements into business rules, data specifications, and functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, document, and validate requirements from Portfolio Managers and investment teams
Define security and portfolio-level attributes, calculations, and business rules
Identify and document data points required by Portfolio Managers for investment analysis and decision-making
Support Fixed Income portfolio analytics including yield, duration, spread, ratings, portfolio weights, sector/state exposure, and benchmark characteristics
Translate portfolio-management requirements into functional specifications, data mappings, and user stories
Analyze and validate investment data using SQL and data analysis
Develop test scenarios, support UAT, and investigate data/calculation discrepancies
Collaborate with investment, product, data, and technology teams

Required Qualifications

8+ years of Business Analyst experience in Asset Management or Financial Services
Strong Fixed Income domain knowledge, preferably Municipal Bonds
Understanding of Fixed Income portfolio management and portfolio analytics
Experience defining and validating financial attributes and calculation logic
Strong understanding of portfolio, holdings, security master, benchmark, and market/reference data
Strong SQL and data-analysis skills
Experience working directly with Portfolio Managers or investment teams
