Job Description
We are inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified staff both internal and external, who wish to upskill and undertake MRI training role within the Lake Imaging Ballarat Region.
Eligibility Criteria- Full-time
- Strong professionalism, communication skills, and teamwork
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Medical radiation practitioner registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Minimum 2yrs post qualification experience with demonstrated full competency in CT.
- Demonstrated knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy and pathology
- Willingness to enrol in and complete an accredited MRI Physics course
- Willingness to complete the ASMIRT Level 1 MRI Accreditation Exam within 12 months of commencing training and attain Part A and Part b of Level Certification
- Demonstrates commitment to ongoing self-directed learning by actively seeking educational resources to further develop knowledge.
- Willingness to be rotated to all MRI sites within the designated region.
- Commit to a minimum service obligation following successful completion of the training.
- Have at least 2 years of patient facing clinical experience
- Once selected, enrol and complete the Radiopedia MRI course within 1 month of acceptance of position.
- Once selected, complete all assigned learning within assigned time frame
- Once selected, sit ASMIRT Level 1 MRI Accreditation Exam Part A within 12 months of commencement of training.
- Once accepted, agrees to be rostered to all MRI sites in the region.
- Initiative shown in professional development activities
- Reliability, time management, and ability to work under supervision
