Facilities Manager
London
£55,000 to £65,000 DEO - hybrid available
Facilities Manager needed for London financial services firm , offering a highly analytical role focused on reporting, statistics, operational performance and workplace data.
This is not a traditional people-management Facilities Manager position . The role is centred around analysing Facilities performance, producing management information, reviewing operational data, improving systems and helping senior management understand how workplace services are performing.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, reporting systems and operational information, while also having a good understanding of corporate Facilities and Workplace services.
Duties will include:
- Producing regular Facilities performance reports and management information.
- Analysing operational data to identify trends, recurring issues and areas for improvement.
- Bringing together information from CAFM systems, suppliers and other workplace sources.
- Using Excel to analyse data and present findings clearly.
- Monitoring service performance across Hard and Soft Facilities Management.
- Reviewing supplier performance information and operational results.
- Supporting improvements to Facilities systems, processes and reporting.
- Coordinating office moves, workplace changes and Facilities projects.
- Working with internal teams, contractors and external service providers.
- Preparing reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Supporting workplace planning and operational improvement projects.
- Maintaining accurate Facilities records, procedures and supporting documentation.
- Assisting with risk, continuity planning and operational reporting requirements.
- Helping improve the accuracy and quality of Facilities data.
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong Excel skills.
- Previous experience producing reports, dashboards, MI or performance information.
- Experience analysing operational data and identifying trends.
- Previous use of a CAFM, helpdesk or workplace management system.
- A good understanding of Hard and/or Soft Facilities Management.
- Experience working with data from different systems, suppliers or service providers.
- Strong numerical and analytical ability.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to present complex information clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
Candidates may currently be working as a Facilities Manager, Facilities Coordinator, Workplace Manager, FM Analyst, Workplace Analyst or within another Facilities role with a strong reporting, systems or data focus.
Experience within financial services, insurance, legal, professional services or another large corporate environment would be advantageous.
