Senior Infrastructure Engineer (EUC & Microsoft Platforms) About the Company

Our client delivers critical ICT capabilities within a complex and secure environment, supporting large-scale enterprise infrastructure and end user computing services. They are undertaking ongoing technology uplift activities across Microsoft platforms, endpoint management and infrastructure services, providing an opportunity to work on challenging and meaningful projects.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support the design, integration, assurance and ongoing improvement of enterprise ICT platforms.

Working within a highly skilled engineering team, you will contribute to the design and support of Windows-based environments, endpoint management solutions, Active Directory services and associated infrastructure platforms. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong technical expertise, problem-solving capability and the ability to work across multiple technologies and stakeholders.

Role Responsibilities
  • Support the design, integration and lifecycle management of enterprise applications and infrastructure platforms.
  • Assess and evaluate technology solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate system integration activities and support engineering outcomes across multiple projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and system deficiencies.
  • Work closely with vendors and stakeholders to support implementation and technical delivery.
  • Translate business and operational requirements into practical technology solutions.
  • Develop technical documentation including High Level Designs, build documentation, configuration guides and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide technical assurance activities, reviews and supporting evidence for project and operational outcomes.
  • Support and maintain Microsoft-based infrastructure and end user computing environments.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, Application Integration or a related ICT discipline.
  • Strong experience working with Microsoft enterprise environments.
  • Experience supporting Windows 10/11 SOE and Windows Server environments.
  • Hands on experience with MECM/SCCM, endpoint management and software deployment technologies.
