The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment, including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to manage shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers to and from railcars and trucks, ensuring efficient daily logistics operations.
• Safely position and move containers within the intermodal yard using hostlers.
• Conduct pre and post-operation equipment inspections to guarantee safety and functionality.
• Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage container movements and daily tasks.
• Maintain a safe work environment through adherence to established protocols and procedures.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position.
• Previous experience operating heavy equipment in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety regulations and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions.
