Functional Consultant

Akkodis is seeking a Functional Consultant for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate with expertise in designing, configuring, and enhancing SAP Sales & Distribution solutions to support order management, pricing, billing, and cross-functional business processes.

Rate Range: $56/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Functional Consultant Job Responsibilities include:

• Configure, customize, and support SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) solutions, including sales order processing, pricing, billing, delivery, and intercompany transactions.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements while providing functional designs and specifications for SAP SD enhancements and integrations.
• Develop functional and technical specifications for ABAP custom programs, interfaces, user exits, and enhancements to support business processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP SD with other SAP modules and external business partner systems.
• Lead testing, deployment, and rollout activities, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and operational objectives.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot complex SAP SD issues, and recommend process improvements to enhance system performance and business efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) implementation, configuration, and support projects.
• Strong expertise in SAP SD, including sales order processing, pricing, billing, deliveries, intercompany processing, revenue recognition, and S/4HANA environments.
• Hands-on experience with SAP SD integrations, user exits, IDOCs, ABAP functional specifications, and cross-functional collaboration across large-scale enterprise SAP projects.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $60.00 per hour
