Job Description

Marriott International, Inc., a global hospitality leader, is seeking a Telephone Sales Agent to join our Sales & Business Development team. In this role, you will handle inbound and outbound calls to promote our hotel offerings, convert inquiries into reservations, and support revenue goals across our portfolio. You will identify guest needs, recommend tailored options, and uphold Marriott's service standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain accurate records in our CRM systems, and contribute to sales campaigns. Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls from prospective and existing guests seeking reservations, information, and support
  • Convert telephone inquiries into confirmed reservations using consultative sales and closing techniques
  • Upsell room types, packages, and add-on services while cross-selling relevant Marriott brands and properties
  • Explain rates, availability, policies, and promotions clearly and accurately to callers
  • Enter, update, and maintain reservations and guest information in Marriott's reservation and CRM systems with high accuracy
  • Meet or exceed individual and team targets for conversion rate, revenue, call quality, and productivity metrics
  • Provide professional, courteous, and solution-focused service to address guest questions, concerns, and booking issues
  • Collaborate with property teams and sales managers to support group bookings, special requests, and promotional campaigns
  • Adhere to Marriott brand standards, scripts, and compliance requirements on every call
  • Participate in ongoing training related to sales techniques, product knowledge, systems, and customer service to continuously improve performance
  • Work a structured schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays to support business needs
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven team culture in line with Marriott's values
