The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment such as hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload shipping containers from railcars and trucks, ensuring accurate placement and securement.
• Perform pre and post-operation equipment inspections to maintain safety and operational readiness.
• Coordinate container movements within the yard and communicate effectively with yard personnel and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to established safety protocols and procedures.
• Ensure efficient and timely handling of containers to support daily logistics operations.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, with open availability.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety are essential.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb ladders/stairs on railcars.
