Job Title: Trade Floor Support

Location: New York, NY
Work Arrangement: 3 day in office with 2 day WFH
Client Industry: Banking
Duration: 12 -18 months Contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday

About the Role


Position Overview:

We are seeking a Production Support / Trading Technology Specialist with strong experience supporting front-office trading environments. This role will be specifically in the Prime Brokerage desks. They will focus on providing real-time support for trading applications, ensuring platform stability, and partnering closely with traders, developers, and engineering teams. You will be responsible for monitoring trading systems, resolving production issues, performing root cause analysis, and driving long-term fixes to improve reliability and performance. This role requires strong communication skills, technical depth, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced global trading environment.


Day-to-Day:


  • Provide front-line support for trading applications and front-office users

  • Monitor systems and ensure platform stability and performance

  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis

  • Drive incident management and long-term fixes

  • Support releases, onboarding, and collaboration with global tech and trading teams


Must Haves:


  • 7+ years in trading application support or front-office technology

  • Experience supporting capital markets (equities, derivatives, swaps, etc.)

  • Strong Linux, SQL, and scripting (Python or similar) skills

  • Experience with monitoring/alerting tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, Geneos, etc.)

  • Hands-on in incident management and production support environments

  • Strong communication skills working with traders and engineering teams



Compensation

Hourly Rate: 70$-73$ per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
