Network Technician/Support

Position: Network Technician/Support

Location: Fairfax, VA (On-Site)

Duration: 6+ Months and Extendable

Client: Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS)

Description:

·        Support Network Engineers with the deployment of new network equipment

·        Tasks include assisting with the installation and configuration of uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), patching Ethernet cables to panels/switches, mounting new equipment, and removing old equipment

·        Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and climb 6-foot ladders when necessary

·        On-site work (100%) Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work

·        This is a physically demanding role with a focus on hands-on tasks

·        All other duties assigned
