Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing in a high-volume, multi-state environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, system expertise, and the ability to ensure accurate and timely payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process full-cycle payroll for a large employee base across multiple states
• Validate time data and ensure accurate payroll calculations
• Manage payroll taxes, garnishments, and statutory deductions
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
• Perform payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Utilize payroll systems such as ADP GlobalView (required) and SAP (preferred)
• Support process improvements and maintain payroll controls

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of payroll experience (high-volume, multi-state preferred)
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, taxes, and compliance
• Hands-on experience with ADP GlobalView (required)
• Experience with SAP or similar systems (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Business, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in large or complex organizations
• Exposure to timekeeping systems and payroll data integration
• Experience working in union environments (a plus)
