This employer is seeking a motivated Payroll Clerk to join their team. The successful candidate will accurately prepare and process payroll, provide administrative support for employee files, and generate essential reports, working in close collaboration with management to ensure efficient payroll operations.

The Role

• Accurately enter all payroll information daily into appropriate software, identifying and correcting any discrepancies.
• Maintain payroll templates to ensure accurate accounting of all employee hours.
• Process and distribute paychecks bi-weekly.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports comparing revenue, payroll, and specified hours.
• Address and resolve employee inquiries regarding pay, hours, taxes, and other payroll-related issues.
• Ensure the accuracy of payroll accounting within the general ledger and monthly financial statements.
• Update and maintain all payroll-related employee file information.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in data entry, payroll processing, and general clerical duties.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Windows-based computer operating systems.
• Effective written and oral communication skills in English.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
