Job Title: Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Python, SQL, Snowflake, and Snowflake Cortex AI Functions.
Location: Onshore
Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Python, SQL, Snowflake, and Snowflake Cortex AI Functions to design, develop, and maintain scalable data and AI-driven applications. The ideal candidate will have experience building enterprise-grade solutions, developing robust data pipelines, and leveraging AI capabilities within Snowflake to deliver innovative business outcomes.
This role requires a hands-on engineer who can collaborate across teams, solve complex technical challenges, and contribute to the architecture and implementation of next-generation data and AI platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using Python.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following software engineering best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions.
Data Engineering & Analytics
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic.
  • Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines within Snowflake.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across enterprise data platforms.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting processes for production systems.
Snowflake & AI Development
  • Design and implement solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud platform.
  • Develop AI-enabled applications using Snowflake Cortex AI Functions
  • Integrate Cortex AI functionalities into data workflows and business applications.
  • Optimize Snowflake workloads for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Collaboration & Innovation
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Data Engineers, Architects, and Business Stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications: Bachelor's in Engineering, or related field.
Experience
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Hands-on experience building enterprise applications and data solutions.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Technical Skills
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Advanced SQL development and query optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake
  • Experience implementing Snowflake Cortex AI Functions.
  • Experience with API development and integration.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
