Application Developer
Location: San Jose, California (Remote)
Role Overview
An experienced full-stack Application Developer is required to support a critical public safety and justice technology initiative. This professional will focus on the design, development, and enhancement of a modern web application within an Information Justice System environment. The position requires strong expertise in building responsive user interfaces and robust backend services utilizing modern cloud practices.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using Angular and .NET.
• Develop responsive and engaging user interfaces using Angular.
• Develop backend services and APIs using C# and .NET.
• Create reusable and testable application modules and components.
• Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Create automated unit tests for Angular and .NET components.
• Support application deployments through continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.
• Develop applications using established coding standards and reusable design patterns.
• Participate in peer code reviews to maintain high quality standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, inline documentation, and system diagrams.

Required Qualifications
Education: A strong academic background in Computer Science or a closely related technical discipline is required.
Experience: Five or more years of professional business application development experience, including recent hands-on experience with modern development frameworks.
Technical Skills:

• Five or more years of Angular business application development experience, including recent hands-on experience with Angular 18 or higher.
• Five or more years of experience working with Microsoft .NET, Visual Studio, and C#, including recent hands-on experience with .NET 7.0 or higher.
• Two or more years of experience working with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 for responsive design.
• Experience with .NET Core, Entity Framework, and LINQ.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Experience automating unit testing for both Angular and .NET applications.
• Familiarity with build and deployment scripts and CI/CD processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing applications optimized for mobile devices and tablets.
• Extensive experience building enterprise-scale Angular and .NET applications.
• Strong Azure application development experience.
• Experience supporting highly available or mission-critical applications.
