Job Description

Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS) Consultant

Initial 4-6 weeks Travel require to Utah-Client Location

10+months


Experience: 5+ years in Oracle EPM, including 2+ years implementing or supporting FCCS

Role Summary

We are seeking an Oracle FCCS Consultant to implement, configure, and support cloud-based financial consolidation and close processes. The consultant will work with finance and technology teams to translate business requirements into scalable solutions and improve the efficiency, accuracy, and control of the financial close.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze consolidation, close, and reporting requirements.
  • Configure FCCS applications, including dimensions, metadata, forms, dashboards, rules, and security.
  • Support consolidation processes such as currency translation, eliminations, intercompany matching, ownership, and cash flow.
  • Develop and maintain business rules, calculations, validations, and close workflows.
  • Build and support integrations with Oracle ERP Cloud and other source systems using Data Integration, Data Management, or equivalent tools.
  • Load, validate, reconcile, and troubleshoot financial data.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles; investigate and resolve application or data issues.
  • Prepare functional and technical design documents, test cases, and user guides.
  • Coordinate system testing, user acceptance testing, deployments, and production support.
  • Work with finance stakeholders to recommend process improvements and ensure compliance with internal controls.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle FCCS implementation, configuration, or production support.
  • Good understanding of financial consolidation, close, currency translation, intercompany eliminations, and reporting.
  • Experience with metadata management, data loads, business rules, and application security.
  • Familiarity with Oracle EPM tools such as Data Integration/Data Management, Smart View, and EPM Automate.
  • Ability to document requirements, explain technical concepts to business users, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating FCCS with Oracle ERP Cloud, HFM, or other financial systems.
  • Exposure to Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud (ARCS), Planning, or Narrative Reporting.
  • Knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, Groovy, or scripting for automation.
  • Oracle EPM or FCCS certification.
