We are seeking an experienced and outstanding Senior Data Analytics Engineer Databricks & Power BI for one of our esteemed clients.

Title: Senior Data Analytics Engineer Databricks & Power BI

Location: Spring, TX (Onsite)
Duration: Long-Term Contract

MAIN FUNCTIONS

Use Databricks and Power BI to develop analytics and dashboards that identify trends, track corrective actions, and communicate alarm performance.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use Databricks to integrate, clean, transform, and analyze data from alarm systems, process historians, maintenance systems, and instrument databases.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for alarm performance, alarm floods, bad actors, instrument reliability, trends, and corrective-action tracking.
• Validate data quality and document data sources, assumptions, business rules, and analytical methods.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in Databricks for data integration, transformation, querying, and analysis.
  Experience analyzing high-volume, time-series data from alarm systems, process historians, maintenance systems, and instrument databases.
• Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Python, etc.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear findings, practical recommendations, and prioritized corrective actions.
• Experience with extracting data from DCS, SCADA, and process historians.

Top 3 skill sets/technologies required for qualification:

1): Data analysis with extraction of data from Databricks, Snowflakes, data historian or any other sources

2): Dashboard creation and modelling (Power BI)

3): SQL, Python coding
