Senior DevOps Engineer / Lead DevOps Engineer / DevOps Architect

Job Overview

We are seeking highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineers, Lead DevOps Engineers, and DevOps Architects with 13+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-scale DevOps, cloud infrastructure, automation, and continuous delivery solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, container orchestration, CI/CD automation, cloud security, and production infrastructure management. Candidates should be capable of leading DevOps initiatives, architecting scalable infrastructure, and mentoring engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure.

• Lead DevOps automation initiatives and establish CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications.

• Manage cloud environments across AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools.

• Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, deployment, and operational processes.

• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident management solutions.

• Drive cloud cost optimization, system reliability, scalability, and performance improvements.

• Establish DevSecOps practices, security controls, vulnerability management, and compliance standards.

• Collaborate with application development, security, architecture, and operations teams.

• Lead technical discussions, mentor engineers, and establish DevOps best practices.

• Support production releases, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, and improve system availability.

Required Technical Skills

• 13+ years of overall IT experience, with strong hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.

• Strong expertise in AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform cloud infrastructure and services.

• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Hands-on experience with Terraform, infrastructure as code, and configuration management.

• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration.

• Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Experience with Git-based version control and automated deployment workflows.

• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk.

• Strong understanding of networking, IAM, cloud security, secrets management, and system administration.

• Experience troubleshooting complex production environments and improving reliability.

• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and work with cross-functional engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud architectures.

• Expertise in DevSecOps, policy as code, and automated security scanning.

• Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux.

• Knowledge of service mesh technologies, serverless platforms, and cloud-native architecture.

• Experience with SRE practices, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity.

• Familiarity with Ansible, Packer, Vault, and enterprise automation frameworks.

• Previous experience as a Lead DevOps Engineer, Principal DevOps Engineer, Platform Architect, or Cloud Infrastructure Architect.
