Job Description

POSITION

MQ Exits Developer (C Programming)

LOCATION

Remote

DURATION

6+ Months

REQUIRED SKILLS
  1. Maintain existing IBM MQ channel exits, API exits, and message exits using C
  2. Ensure all exit implementations are thread-safe and optimized for multi-threaded MQ environments
  3. Integrate exit logic with external systems (e.g., LDAP, REST APIs) where required
  4. Operational Support & Modernization
  5. Provide L3 support for MQ exit-related issues in production environments
  6. Partner with platform and application teams to:
  7. Reduce reliance on exits by evaluating native MQ features
  8. Simplify and modernize legacy exit implementations
  9. Support migration initiatives
  10. Documentation & Governance
  11. Maintain detailed design documentation, code standards, and runbooks
  12. Ensure proper lifecycle management of exit code (versioning, deployment, rollback
