Cribl Security Data Engineer

Position Overview

• Location: Columbia, SC
• Work Arrangement: 100% Remote (Nationwide; local preference for occasional onsite needs)
• Interview Process: 1–2 Virtual Rounds (MS Teams, Camera On)

Key Skills & Expertise Needed

• Cribl Pipelines: Data modeling, log ingestion, and pipeline design
• Security Platforms: Hands-on with SIEM, XDR, DLP, and Endpoint Security
• Automation: Scripting via Python and Bash
• Systems & Admin: Linux sensor deployment, system hardening (Linux/Windows), and networking protocols

• Certifications: CISSP or Security+
• Compliance Frameworks: NIST CSF, CJIS, IRS 1075, MARS-E

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Security OR 8+ years of relevant experience
• 5+ years supporting large enterprise IT environments
• Must pass credit check, criminal background check, and obtain CJIS certification upon hire
