Pay Range: $70 - $72/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and compliance checks to identify gaps and potential issues that could arise during migration.
• Develop a project plan with defined phases (Planning, Conversion, Implementation, Cutover) and timelines, ensuring alignment with client objectives and internal best practices.
• Lead and execute complex migrations from TSS or ACF2 to RACF, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on production environments.
• Configure and integrate RACF on z/OS systems, ensuring it aligns with the client's business and security requirements.
• Manage the installation, configuration, and validation of RACF profiles, rules, and access controls to replace the existing TSS or ACF2 setup.
• Utilize IBM tools such as zSecure, and other RACF-specific utilities to automate the creation of RACF commands and streamline the migration process.
• Provide post-migration support to address any issues, fine-tune the configuration, and ensure the new RACF setup operates as expected.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to upskill client teams on RACF usage, management, and best practices for maintaining a secure z/OS environment.
• Collaborate with system programmers, network engineers, and application owners, to ensure the successful integration of RACF with existing systems and applications.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on RACF, providing guidance and support to clients and internal teams on all aspects of mainframe security.
• Should have an interest in AI and be eager to learn how AI can be integrated with RACF to enhance security monitoring and automation.
• Have a foundational knowledge of programming languages such as PL/I, Assembler, REXX, and Java, and be willing to develop these skills further to support mainframe security tasks and automation efforts.
• Perform in-depth analysis of the client's current security environment using TSS or ACF2, identifying potential challenges and creating a detailed migration strategy tailored to the client's requirements.
• Lead and execute complex migrations from TSS or ACF2 to RACF, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on production environments.
