Retail Sales Consultant

Optimum is seeking a Retail Sales Consultant to deliver exceptional in-store experiences for our internet, TV, and mobile customers. In this fast-paced role, you'll engage shoppers, understand their needs, and recommend tailored Optimum solutions. You'll handle product demos, new accounts, upgrades, and billing questions while meeting sales and customer satisfaction goals. Working with a collaborative team, you'll use the latest tools and technology to stay current on offers, troubleshoot basic service issues, and ensure accurate transactions and documentation. This role offers opportunities to grow in telecommunications sales and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in-store to understand needs and recommend Optimum products and services
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales targets and key performance metrics
• Perform product demonstrations and clearly explain features, pricing, and promotions
• Process new accounts, upgrades, renewals, and changes accurately in point-of-sale systems
• Assist with basic billing questions and service troubleshooting to support customer satisfaction
• Maintain store merchandising, displays, and inventory organization to brand standards
• Stay current on Optimum offers, competitors, and telecommunications trends
• Document customer interactions and follow up on leads to drive repeat business
• Collaborate with team members to improve store performance and customer experience
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
