Retail Sales Consultant

Optimum is seeking a Retail Sales Consultant to connect customers with best-in-class internet, TV, and mobile solutions. In this fast-paced retail role, you will engage walk-in customers, assess needs, and recommend tailored Optimum packages and promotions. You'll process orders, activate services, handle billing questions, and troubleshoot basic equipment issues while meeting individual and store sales goals. You will also complete accurate documentation in POS/CRM systems, maintain an organized, visually appealing store, and support merchandising, events, and product launches as part of a collaborative, customer-first team.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage retail customers, identify needs, and recommend Optimum products and bundles
• Explain features, pricing, and promotions for internet, TV, mobile, and home phone services
• Process new accounts, upgrades, renewals, and equipment transactions in POS/CRM systems
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales, attachment, and conversion targets
• Handle basic troubleshooting and product education on devices and equipment
• Resolve routine billing and service questions or escalate complex issues appropriately
• Maintain store appearance, merchandising standards, and accurate product displays
• Stay current on new products, offers, and competitive landscape
• Collect and document customer information accurately and securely
• Collaborate with team members to support events, product launches, and process improvements
