Job Summary: Full Stack / Java Application Developer - Federal Reserve (Remote) About the Role Join a high-impact team supporting the Federal Reserve as a Full Stack / Java Application Developer. Work remotely on mission-critical financial applications, leveraging cutting-edge technologies while supporting government and financial sector innovation. Play a key role in developing a Reuse Reference application that streamlines testing and showcases advanced component integration. Candidates must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. Responsibilities - Design, develop, and implement robust web-based Java applications using Spring Boot and Angular.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions for government and financial services projects.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents and code specifications.
- Perform comprehensive program coding, testing, and debugging to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Apply shift-left testing methodologies to enhance software quality and reliability.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for integration and reuse of application components.
- Continuously research and adopt industry best practices to improve development processes.
Required Skills and Experience - Proficiency in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate, JMS, SQL, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript.
- 2-4 years of proven experience in web application development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles and agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, research, and resolve technical problems.
Preferred Skills - Previous experience working with government services or financial institutions.
- Hands-on familiarity with MITRE recommendations and shift-left testing concepts.
