Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

Job Description

Senior Technical Business Analyst / Technology Analyst / Scrum Master to support technology and business initiatives in a large enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile/SAFe/Scrum methodologies, business analysis, data analysis, stakeholder management, and technology delivery.

The candidate should be comfortable working with cross-functional teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies, analyzing data, documenting requirements, and coordinating technology initiatives from planning through delivery.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Technology Analyst, Business Analyst, Scrum Master, or related role.
  • Strong experience with Agile, SAFe Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and coaching teams on Agile best practices.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • SQL
  • SAS
  • Power BI
  • Advanced Excel – Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP
  • Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and IBM Data Studio.
  • Strong knowledge of Jira, Rally, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and ServiceNow.
  • Experience with Git, Visual Studio, SharePoint, PuTTY, Visio, and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), or large enterprise environments.
  • Scrum Master certification such as CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent is preferred/required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, product owners, and Scrum teams.
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies.
  • Support Agile/SAFe transformation and promote Agile best practices.
  • Perform data analysis using SQL, SAS, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and analytical insights for business and technology stakeholders.
  • Track project activities, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Use tools such as Jira, Rally, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and ServiceNow for project and workflow management.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable technical requirements and user stories.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of technology solutions.
  • Provide regular status updates and communicate project progress to stakeholders.
  • Support documentation, process improvement, and technology delivery initiatives.

Preferred Background

  • Banking / Financial Services / Insurance experience.
  • Experience in large enterprise technology environments.
  • Scrum Master or Agile certification.
  • Strong combination of Business Analysis + Agile/Scrum + Data Analysis experience.
