Job Description

Action Health Staffing seeks a Staffing Coordinator to support healthcare and home care placements across North Carolina. In this role, you'll match nurses, CNAs, and home health aides with hospitals, clinics, and home care clients, managing schedules, filling urgent shifts, and keeping accurate records. You'll communicate closely with caregivers and facilities, problem-solve day-to-day issues, and collaborate with our supportive office team. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily and long-term staffing assignments for hospitals, clinics, and home care clients across North Carolina
  • Match nurses, CNAs, and home health aides to client needs, schedules, and required skill levels
  • Respond promptly to last-minute staffing requests and fill open shifts efficiently
  • Maintain accurate schedules, availability records, and documentation in staffing systems
  • Communicate clearly with caregivers and clients regarding assignments, expectations, and schedule changes
  • Partner with recruiters and office staff to ensure smooth onboarding and deployment of caregivers
  • Monitor attendance, punctuality, and performance feedback from clients to support quality care
  • Support caregivers with questions, problem-solving, and conflict resolution related to assignments
