Job Description

Action Health Staffing seeks a Staffing Coordinator to schedule and support nurses, CNAs, and home health aides across hospitals, clinics, and home care settings in North Carolina. In this collaborative, caregiver-focused role, you'll match client needs with qualified staff, manage schedules, confirm shifts, and help maintain compliance and credentials. You'll communicate daily with caregivers and facilities, resolve issues quickly, and support flexible, ongoing, and long-term assignments that directly impact patient care in your local community.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate scheduling and placement of nurses, CNAs, and home health aides across hospitals, clinics, and home care settings in North Carolina
  • Match client staffing needs with qualified caregivers based on skills, availability, and preferences
  • Maintain accurate schedules, shift confirmations, and last-minute coverage using scheduling software and communication tools
  • Communicate regularly with caregivers and clients to confirm assignments, resolve issues, and ensure service quality
  • Support onboarding, credential tracking, and compliance documentation for new and existing caregivers
  • Collaborate with office team to forecast staffing needs and fill ongoing, PRN, and long-term roles
  • Respond to urgent staffing requests and adjust schedules to ensure uninterrupted patient care
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and staff, reflecting a compassionate, caregiver-focused culture
