Staffing Coordinator

Action Health Staffing seeks a Staffing Coordinator to manage scheduling and placement of nurses, CNAs, and home health aides across hospitals, clinics, and home care settings in North Carolina. In this collaborative, caregiver focused role, you will match staff availability and skills with client needs, maintain accurate schedules, handle urgent shift changes, and support new placements. You'll partner closely with office staff, communicate daily with caregivers and facilities, and help ensure reliable, compassionate care for patients in varied healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule healthcare staff for hospital, clinic, and home care assignments across North Carolina
• Match caregiver skills and availability with client needs to ensure appropriate coverage
• Maintain up to date staffing calendars, shift rosters, and assignment records in scheduling systems
• Communicate regularly with nurses, CNAs, and home health aides regarding shifts, changes, and expectations
• Respond to urgent staffing requests, call outs, and schedule changes in a timely, professional manner
• Collaborate with recruiters and office team to support onboarding and placement of new caregivers
• Ensure compliance with agency policies, client requirements, and healthcare regulations for assignments
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and caregivers through clear, respectful communication
