Senior Virtualization and Infrastructure Security Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Virtualization and Infrastructure Security Engineer to design, secure, and support enterprise VMware environments, with emphasis on infrastructure security, identity and access management, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and Aria Operations.
• Implement security controls, including encryption, RBAC, MFA, identity management, and secure configurations.
• Design fault-tolerant, highly available infrastructure with multi-region redundancy and disaster recovery.
• Manage virtual networking, firewalls, SAN/NAS storage, and Windows/Linux environments.
• Identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and implement remediation measures.
• Develop infrastructure automation and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Ansible, PowerShell, or Python.
• Support Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, and Tanzu environments as required.

Qualifications

• Strong VMware virtualization and Aria Operations experience, preferably version 9.
• Expertise in infrastructure security, encryption, RBAC, MFA, and identity management.
• Experience designing high-availability, fault-tolerant, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Strong knowledge of virtual networking, firewalls, and enterprise storage.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and Infrastructure-as-Code is required.
• Familiarity with container technologies and Kubernetes is preferred.
