Service Tech – Waste Oil Furnaces & Boilers

Description Build your future with a close-knit team serving commercial and industrial customers across the region from Sioux Falls, SD, powering waste oil heating systems that recycle used oil into usable heat. In this Service Technician – Waste Oil Furnaces & Boilers opportunity, you’ll learn the specialty of waste oil heating through hands-on training while working on real equipment in truck shops, dealerships, industrial facilities, and agricultural settings.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Service Tech– Waste Oil Furnaces & Boilers position include: At least 1 year of hands-on mechanical experience. Comfort using basic hand tools such as wrenches and pliers. Ability and willingness to learn installation, service, and troubleshooting of mechanical heating equipment. Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Experience working in environments such as truck repair shops, automotive dealerships, industrial facilities, or agricultural facilities.

Willingness to travel regionally (about one full week per quarter) and return home on weekends. Valid driver’s license. Install, service, maintain, and troubleshoot waste oil furnaces, burners, and boilers; support parts sales/customer service as part of the service operation.

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
