Project Manager- CC&B Upgrade--Remote
Location: This position is remote. Occasional travel may be required.
The CCB system is currently running version 2.7, which reaches end-of-support in September 2026.
The Project Manager will oversee technical and functional workstreams ensuring the project is delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with the client governance standards.
The successful candidate will guide the client through the upgrade to Oracle s latest on-prem version and deliver a post-upgrade cloud-readiness assessment to inform future modernization decisions. The PM will represent the clients interests with vendors, the chosen System Integrator, and cross-functional teams, ensuring that deliverables meet business, technical, security, and operational requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead full lifecycle project management for the CCB Upgrade, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and transition to operations.
- Apply clients IT Project Delivery Processes, as well as stage gate methodologies.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans in collaboration with the System Integrator and client teams.
- Coordinate and support activities across clients technical and functional teams.
- Facilitate communication among project stakeholders, subject matter experts, vendors, and leadership groups.
- Ensure alignment across diverse workstreams and proactively manage dependencies.
- Monitor progress, identify and mitigate risks, track issues, and escalate concerns through CTOC and the client governance channels as needed.
- Present regular status reports to project stakeholders, CIS teams, Steering Committees, and the client leadership.
- Ensure all project artifacts are finalized and stored according to clients standards using O365 and SharePoint Online
- Oversee QA, functional and technical testing, bug tracking, and enhancements using Azure DevOps.
- Manage change management activities across departments, identifying blockers and ensuring milestones are met.
- Work closely with the System Integrator to ensure contractual deliverables, timelines, and dependencies are met.
- Facilitate issue resolution between the cleint, Oracle, and the System Integrator, escalating through CTOC as required.
- Lead transition planning for operational support and maintenance for the CIS teams.
- Deliver a postupgrade cloudreadiness report outlining considerations for future modernization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least 10 years of project management experience leading large, complex enterprise technology projects.
- Proven experience coordinating cross functional technical and business teams across multiple departments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage scope, schedule, risks, issues, decisions, and vendor performance within complex public-sector or utility environments.
- Experience producing and maintaining project artifacts including charters, resource plans, RACI matrices, schedules, decision logs, and governance reports.
- Strong communication, facilitation, executive reporting, and conflictresolution skills.
