Account Clerk 

Overview

Experienced finance and administrative professional with 5+ years of expertise in managing complex clerical operations, safeguarding high-value assets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Adept at balancing precision with efficiency, while supporting organizational goals through effective budget management, auditing, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Oversight: Maintain and certify accuracy of official financial records; ensure compliance with agency and state regulations.

  • Budget Management: Assist in preparation, monitoring, and control of agency budgets to optimize resource allocation.

  • Transaction Management: Receive, deposit, distribute, and account for funds, securities, and valuables; authorize and process payments and vouchers.

  • Auditing & Reporting: Conduct audits, prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports, and generate profit-loss statements to support decision-making.

  • Procurement & Inventory Control: Verify requisitions for quality, quantity, and cost-effectiveness; oversee purchasing and inventory processes.

  • Contract & Settlement: Negotiate settlements, manage leases, auctions, and bid processes with transparency and fairness.

  • Operational Support: Supervise office operations, including equipment procurement, maintenance, and repairs; ensure smooth workflow continuity in director’s absence.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with diverse groups—contractors, vendors, medical personnel, educators, and public officials—to ensure accuracy, compliance, and service delivery.
