Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in hardware program management, product development processes, and cross-functional coordination and a proven ability to drive engineering design deliverables, manage hardware component delivery, and build executable development schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Support Hardware Design TPMs in coordinating engineering design deliverables, including specifications, DOE, and validation plans.


• Manage delivery of hardware components for development builds and drive qualification to meet mass production timelines.


• Create development, delivery, and qualification schedules based on system requirements, technical challenges, lead-times, and business needs.


• Structure programs to optimize clarity and efficiency for teams and leadership.


• Communicate program status and risks, including vendor tooling schedules and design sprint impacts.


• Manage communication within and between internal cross-functional and external partners.


• Ensure program documentation is complete, current, and accessible for staff and leadership review.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.


• 5+ years as a technology development program manager in consumer electronics.


• Experience working with overseas suppliers of hardware components.


• Experience with ODM, JDM, and CM vendor engagement models.


• Knowledge of phase-gate approaches to technology development programs.


• Experience with mechanical system development, DFM, tooling, validation, and characterization processes.


• Strong communication and planning skills with attention to detail.


• Knowledge of program top-issue tracking and reporting practices.


• Experience operating across multiple teams and programs.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in a hardware engineering role.


• Experience working with a large number of cross-functional partners.
