Commissioning Engineer, AWS Data Center Commissioning | Atlanta, GA, United States | On-site | $116,800.00 - $160,000.00 USD annually This employer is a globally recognized leader in cloud computing, dedicated to powering innovation for businesses worldwide. They are looking for a skilled Commissioning Engineer to join a highly creative and efficient team responsible for building and supporting their state-of-the-art data centers. This is an opportunity to tackle fascinating and challenging problems in a fast-paced environment. The Role • Provide testing and validation oversight for electrical and mechanical infrastructure in data centers. • Review design documents, lead Factory Witness Testing (FWT), and manage third-party commissioning vendors. • Conduct pre-functional, functional, and integrated systems testing. • Dive deep to resolve technical issues and address ever-changing schedule and coordination demands. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, capacity delivery, and operations. • Contribute multi-discipline input into project scheduling, test script development, design, and planning. What You'll Need • 5+ years of experience in engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems. • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or 5+ years of relevant discipline work experience. • High technical competency in mechanical, electrical, or control systems used in critical infrastructures. • Ability to review mechanical or electrical design documentation and provide feedback. • Experience developing or reviewing commissioning documentation such as test plans and scripts. • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 80% of the year.
