Job Description

HR Coordinator - CIPD Support

£38,000-£42,000 plus fantastic benefits

London ( city office) 4 days office / 1 day home 9am-5pm

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an HR Coordinator to join a small, friendly and highly collaborative HR team within an established financial services business ( circa 125 staff)

This is a genuine generalist HR coordination role, supporting the full HR function across onboarding, recruitment, employee records, compliance, benefits, payroll, learning and development and more.

You'll be joining a close-knit team of three and will have the opportunity to take real ownership of your work, while working closely with colleagues across the wider business.

The Role

This is a hands-on, administration-focused position, so you'll need to enjoy being organised, getting stuck in and taking ownership.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contracts, checks, inductions and probation.
  • Supporting recruitment and working with hiring managers and external agencies.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day employee HR queries. Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems.
  • Supporting benefits and payroll administration.
  • Coordinating learning, training and professional development.
  • Supporting HR compliance and regulatory processes.
  • Assisting with performance review processes. Producing HR reports and management information.

Supporting HR projects and identifying opportunities to improve processes and systems. There will also be opportunities to get involved in HR projects and process improvement, giving you the chance to develop your experience beyond the core administration responsibilities.

About You

We're looking for someone with previous HR administration or coordination experience who is ready to take ownership and hit the ground running.

Experience within a particular industry isn't important. What matters is that you're comfortable working in a smaller organisation where you'll have broad responsibility rather than a highly specialised HR role.

You'll ideally be:

Experienced in HR administration or coordination. Highly organised, accurate and detail-focused. Comfortable handling confidential information. Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks. Confident communicating with people at all levels. Proactive, practical and happy to roll up your sleeves. Keen to develop your HR career while still enjoying the hands-on side of HR. Experienced with Staffology or similar HR systems - desirable.

Development

The business is committed to developing its people and will fully support and sponsor CIPD study for someone looking to progress their HR qualifications.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has built a foundation in HR administration and wants to develop their generalist HR experience within a supportive environment.
