Staff Web Developer / SaaS / React / Toronto

A Toronto based SaaS company is looking to add a Staff Web Developer to their team as they continue to grow. Their platform helps empower revenue leaders globally to design smarter go to market strategies, maximize seller performance, and unlock untapped potential. As a Staff Web Developer you will be responsible for overseeing technical strategy, architecture, and continuous evolution of their website to ensure an exceptional user experience and support marketing pipeline growth. You'll be the sole developer on this team, but you will work hand in hand with product marketing, operations, design, content, and external partners to transform business and marketing objectives into scalable experiences. Your day to day work will span development, architecture, optimization, analytics, and you'll have a strong focus in building their digital experiences with their CMS platform.
Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional web development experience
• A strong foundation in front end development with the ability to work across the stack
• Excellent JavaScript experience with a focus on React and TypeScript
• Hands on experience developing websites with HubSpot CMS
• Experience working with APIs and integrations across websites, CRM, analytics, and marketing platforms
• Strong SEO knowledge, structured data, and core web vitals.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience working with backend technologies, preferably within the MERN stack
• Prior experience working in a SaaS environment, preferably on B2B platforms
• Prior experience working on marketing websites is a big plus
