Sr. Net/Database Engineer

Position - Key Engineer (.NET)
Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid, 1-2 days/week onsite)
Term: Through the end of 2027

Must Have Skills

·        .NET Framework

• C#
• Microsoft SQL Server
• SQL / T-SQL
• PowerShell
• Strong database knowledge

Role:

• .NET and Database engineer to be the expert to provide support on database integrations improvements, performance tuning on our projects with the below Must have and nice to have skills.

This role will work directly with the client application architect.

Must have skills:

• STRONG .NET skills
• Good experience in SQL
• Senior-level SQL experience with T-SQL (Queries/Stored Proc/DDL) - minimum 7 year
• Good experience in Microsoft Stack, C#, ADO pipelines
• Self and quick learner
• Prompt and proactive communication
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in performance optimization (query)
• Experience working in complex systems involving multi-disciplinary teams with proven track record of on-time, quality delivery (requirements fulfilment and defect-free)
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication and demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups/populations
• Works well under time constraints
• Experience ensuring high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours

Nice to have skills:

• Good knowledge of Insurance Industry
• Good knowledge of policy administration process (glossary and transactions)
• Good experience in NUget repo
• Experience working as tech lead or architect will be great (this position will start hands-on)
