Weapons Test & Evaluation Engineer (Associate, or Mid-Level) with Security Clearance

Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is looking for a Weapons Test & Evaluation Engineer (Associate, or Mid-Level) to join our team in St. Charles, MO. Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate and Mid-Level Weapons Test & Evaluation Engineers.

Position Responsibilities

• Act as a flight test engineer (FTE) and test conductor on a variety of weapons programs (JDAM, SDB, GLSDB, MOP, B61, Harpoon, SLAM-ER, etc.)
• Work with Boeing, Government, and other Military Contractors to define and document test requirements and test procedures that will meet test objectives while ensuring safety, quality, and test efficiency
• Support weapon assembly, software loading, and functional checkouts of weapons
• Manage and verify configuration of weapon hardware and software under test
• Support weapons and flight termination system checks to verify system health prior to test
• Support the execution of the test program, including builds, ground testing, environmental quantification, safe separation, carrier suitability, captive carriage, guided release, etc.
• Travel to various domestic and international test ranges, sometimes with limited advance notice, in support of dynamic flight test schedules
• Coordinate with flight test and range personnel to develop, update, maintain, and configuration control real-time displays needed for making real-time flight test conduct decisions
• Facilitate test planning meetings, test readiness reviews, pre-travel briefings, test document reviews, and post-test reporting documentation

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• Experienced with engineering in the aerospace industry

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with flight test, flight operations, or system test Conflict of Interest: Successful candidate for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
