Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team and play a key role in building a new cloud-based application. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, and AWS, along with solid experience developing scalable web-based applications.

This is a hands-on development role requiring someone who is comfortable working with modern cloud technologies and contributing to the design, development, and deployment of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-level web applications using Java/J2EE and Spring technologies.
• Build and enhance a new cloud-based application using AWS services.
• Develop scalable and maintainable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Work with AWS S3, EC2, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, product teams, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and optimize database queries and application performance.
• Implement integrations using REST, JSON, XML, and AJAX.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and production support.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Apply Java concurrency and multithreading concepts where appropriate.
• Follow software development best practices for scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong experience in Java/J2EE.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring/Spring MVC or Spring Boot.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies.
• Experience with AWS S3 and EC2.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code technologies.
• Experience developing web-based applications.
• Strong experience with RESTful web services/APIs.
• Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or DB2.
• Strong understanding of SQL and database design.
• Experience with Jenkins, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of JSON, XML, and AJAX.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
