Lead Java Developer

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Lead Java Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JPA, Hibernate, AWS, and microservices development. The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership skills and the ability to provide design guidance, resolve technical blockers, and support the team in delivering scalable and maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java 8 and above, J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot. Design and develop scalable Java microservices using Spring and Spring Boot. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs using industry-standard development practices. Design and implement data access solutions using JPA and Hibernate. Apply object-oriented programming principles and established design patterns to develop maintainable solutions. Provide technical and design guidance to development team members.

Lead technical discussions and support the team in resolving complex technical challenges. Proactively identify and remove technical blockers to ensure efficient team progress. Review application designs and code to ensure quality, scalability, security, and maintainability. Collaborate with architects, developers, business stakeholders, and other technical teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Use Git, GitHub, or other distributed version control systems for source code management. Troubleshoot application issues and provide effective and creative solutions.

Support application deployment and cloud-based development activities using AWS. Promote development best practices, coding standards, and continuous improvement across the team. Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot development. Strong hands-on experience with Java 8 and above. Strong experience developing Java microservices using Spring and Spring Boot. Strong experience with REST APIs. Hands-on experience with JPA and Hibernate. Working knowledge of AWS cloud services. Experience with Git, GitHub, or other distributed version control systems.

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and identify effective solutions to complex technical problems. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Demonstrated ability to lead development teams by providing technical and design guidance. Ability to proactively identify and remove technical blockers affecting team productivity.
