Job Description

Duration: 6+ months w/ extension
Rate: $80-110/hr
Location: On-site 4 days a week in Lower Manhattan, NYC
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Data Engineer to build and support its data platform on Azure and Databricks. The consultant will work embedded with the client team on pipeline development, platform support, and data integration.
Must-Have Skills:

Strong data engineering experience, with recent hands-on Databricks work including Spark, Delta Lake, notebooks, jobs, and workflows
Strong experience with Azure data services, such as Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, and Synapse
Advanced Python and SQL
Experience building and supporting production data pipelines at scale

Additional Required Experience:
Candidates must have experience with at least two of the following:

Salesforce data familiarity, including Salesforce objects, data extraction, and integration
API integration experience, including REST APIs and ingesting data from source-system APIs
Azure data security, including role-based access control, Unity Catalog, Key Vault, and data governance
Exposure to AI/LLM integration on Databricks
