Network Data Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Network Data Engineer to build, maintain, and improve data pipelines for network-related data. The candidate should have experience in Python, SQL, data integration, and network monitoring to support performance analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines to collect and process network data.

• Collect data from network devices, logs, and monitoring tools.

• Develop ETL/ELT processes to clean and transform data.

• Analyze network data to identify performance issues and trends.

• Work with network, infrastructure, and analytics teams.

• Improve data storage, processing, and performance.

• Check data quality and accuracy.

• Support dashboards, reports, and network capacity planning.

• Troubleshoot data pipeline and integration issues.

• Maintain technical documentation and follow data security practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in data engineering or data pipeline development.

• Strong knowledge of Python and SQL.

• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration.

• Knowledge of databases and data processing.

• Understanding of networking basics, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and switching.

• Experience in troubleshooting and performance optimization.

• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Apache Spark, Kafka, or Airflow.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.

• Familiarity with network monitoring data, SNMP, logs, and telemetry.

• Knowledge of data warehousing, dashboards, and reporting tools.
