Job description

Title: Java Full Stack Developer

Location: Hybrid in NY

Role Summary

We are looking for a Java Full Stack Developer with solid hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, RabbitMQ/IBM

MQ, and Oracle. This role will focus primarily on backend application development, microservices, API integration,

and messaging-based solutions.

This is a hands-on development role; hence we are looking for someone who can quickly understand the application

landscape, and contribute effectively to both delivery and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot

• Build, enhance, and support microservices and REST APIs

• Work on messaging and integration use cases using RabbitMQ/IBM MQ

• Work with Oracle database for queries, integrations, and data-related changes

• Troubleshoot production and non-production issues and support defect resolution

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and release activities

• Collaborate closely with team members, architects, and stakeholders to meet delivery goals

• Follow standard development practices and contribute to building stable and scalable solutions

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on development experience in Java

• Good experience with Spring Boot

• Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs

• Good understanding of microservices-based applications

• Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ/IBM MQ or similar messaging middleware

• Good working knowledge of Oracle

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and own development tasks

Good to Have

• Experience with Angular

• Experience using Docker

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines

• Exposure to AI-assisted development eg. Copilot, Claude, or Codex

• Experience working in Agile teams

• Knowledge of application support and monitoring

Ideal Profile

• A hands-on developer who can contribute from day one

• Comfortable working across development, issue fixing, and release support

• Able to work with multiple teams and manage day-to-day delivery expectations

• Good communication and collaboration skills
