IT Project Manager(Hardware Deployment)

Role:IT Project Manager
Location: Austin, TX

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end IT hardware and device deployment projects from planning through completion.
• Coordinate procurement, configuration, scheduling, logistics, deployment, and close-out activities.
• Lead cross-functional teams consisting of technical resources, business stakeholders, vendors, and support teams.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items.
• Conduct project meetings and ensure effective communication across all stakeholder groups.
• Provide regular project status updates, reports, and executive-level communications.
• Maintain a high degree of project transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate deployment activities across multiple locations and teams.
• Manage vendors and third-party service providers to ensure project deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Identify and resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ensure deployment activities follow established IT processes, standards, and change management procedures.
• Coordinate enterprise-scale device refresh and deployment activities involving 800+ devices.
• Support project documentation, reporting, and workflow management using standard Microsoft tools.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive IT Project Management experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing IT infrastructure, hardware deployment, or enterprise device refresh projects.
• Experience coordinating large-scale technology deployments.
• Strong experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple vendors.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing project schedules, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with executives, technical teams, and end users.
