Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Developer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL, and cloud technologies, along with experience working in Agile environments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE application development.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, Java 8/11/17+, OOP, Collections, Multithreading, Exception Handling, and Java Streams.
• Strong experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Extensive experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture, service-to-service communication, API integration, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, or equivalent cloud services.
• Strong experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience developing scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, data structures, algorithms, and clean coding practices.
• Experience with unit testing and automated testing using JUnit, Mockito, or similar frameworks.
• Understanding of OAuth 2.0, JWT, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience with API gateways and enterprise application integrations.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support experience.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring Batch, and Spring Integration.
• Experience with Redis or other caching technologies.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
• Experience with ELK/EFK, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or other observability tools.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevSecOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience working with high-volume, distributed, and mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise Java applications and microservices.
• Develop scalable and reliable REST APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions.
• Develop integrations with databases, external APIs, messaging platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers.
• Troubleshoot application issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and resource utilization.
• Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and application deployments.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other engineering teams.
• Support production deployments, incident resolution, and application maintenance.
• Follow Agile/Scrum practices and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure applications meet security, performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
