CAD/Designer - Custom AC & DC Motor Manufacturing | Warrior, AL | Hybrid

The Role

  • Create detailed 2D and 3D models for new motor designs and customizations.
  • Produce accurate manufacturing drawings, assembly layouts, and bills of materials.
  • Maintain and update engineering documentation and revision histories.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and shop floor teams on design alignment.
  • Translate engineering concepts and specifications into manufacturable drawings.
  • Support special projects and customer documentation requirements.

What You'll Need

  • Associate degree or technical certification in CAD, Drafting, or Mechanical Design.
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical drafting or CAD design, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor).
  • Solid understanding of mechanical components, tolerances, and fabrication practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills.
