Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) Location: Poole, Dorset<br />Salary: £52,000 - £54,000 per annum<br />Shift Pattern: Continental Days &amp; Nights Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking to join a manufacturer that's genuinely investing in its engineering function?

The Role As part of a skilled engineering team, you'll be responsible for maintaining a wide range of automated manufacturing and packaging equipment, helping to maximise plant reliability and minimise downtime. Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery.<br />Responding to breakdowns and carrying out electrical and/or mechanical fault finding.<br />Repairing and maintaining electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.<br />Using the site's CMMS to record maintenance activities, manage assets and support planned maintenance.<br />Supporting reliability and continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.<br />Working closely with production and engineering colleagues to maintain a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

What We're Looking For<br />Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing, production or FMCG environment.<br />Strong electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding skills.<br />Experience working with PLC-controlled and automated machinery (Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar).<br />Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.<br />Apprentice trained, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification.<br />A proactive engineer who enjoys solving problems and contributing to continuous improvement.
