The Role

• Direct Radiation Protection Technicians in decontamination, instrumentation, planning, scheduling, and procedures.
• Oversee radiation exposure control and waste management programs in support of plant operations and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and state requirements.
• Interface with plant staff and regulators on Radiation Protection program implementation.
• Coach and monitor employees to ensure a productive workforce and maintain positive employee relations.
• Manage the daily operations of the Radiation Protection program to maintain ALARA principles.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of applied radiation protection experience, OR
• Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 5 years of applied Radiation Protection experience, OR
• Associate's degree with 7 years of applied radiation protection experience, OR
• High school diploma/GED with 9 years of applied Radiation Protection experience
• Maintain required access and pass a favorable medical examination.
• Preferred: NRRPT certification.
• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a science-related field.
