Head of Fresh Counter | Lüchow, Germany | On-site

We are seeking a driven individual to lead the fresh counter operations for a prominent German food retailer, known for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. This role is integral to the success of the store, focusing on delivering exceptional products and creating a vibrant shopping experience.

The Role

  • Lead and mentor a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure the highest standards of product freshness, quality, and adherence to hygiene regulations.
  • Create appealing product displays and provide expert advice and excellent service to customers.
  • Implement sales-promoting measures and innovative ideas to drive business growth.
  • Oversee all aspects of counter management, including inventory, pricing, ordering, and cost/revenue development.

What You'll Need

  • Completed vocational training, preferably in the food retail sector, or relevant experience in baked goods or self-service fresh counters.
  • Solid knowledge of products with a keen eye for freshness and quality.
