IT Manager/Director

Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager/Director to oversee technology operations and guide technical strategy in Opa Locka, Florida. This role leads infrastructure, end-user support, systems administration, and security efforts while ensuring reliable service across the organization. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, sound technical judgment, and the ability to align IT priorities with broader business goals.

Responsibilities

Direct daily IT operations across infrastructure, support services, and core business systems to maintain dependable performance. Act as the highest point of escalation for advanced technical issues and drive timely resolution of complex incidents. Lead the administration and improvement of Microsoft environments, including Windows workstations, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Intune. Oversee helpdesk functions, establish service expectations, and coach technical staff to deliver responsive user support.

Strengthen cybersecurity practices by managing access controls, backup processes, and adherence to network security standards. Coordinate technology projects, system upgrades, and infrastructure enhancements that support operational needs and long-term planning. Manage vendor relationships, evaluate service agreements, and support budgeting decisions for IT tools, services, and equipment. Maintain and optimize multi-site or enterprise IT environments, including hardware configuration, connectivity, and system availability.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Networking, or a related discipline is preferred. At least 5 years of progressive experience in technical support, systems administration, or infrastructure management.
2 or more years of experience in a senior, lead, or management-level IT position is preferred. Strong hands-on expertise with Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server platforms. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune, and endpoint management practices.

Working understanding of Cisco technologies, Active Directory, backup solutions, and computer hardware support. Familiarity with network security concepts, configuration management, and best practices for protecting business systems. Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft, Cisco, or similar credentials are preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.
