Job Description

We are seeking a MapKit Native iOS Engineer to work on the Maps Developer Platform, building APIs and tools for the Apple Maps Developer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Elicit requirements and translate into scalable code.

  • Design, review, and implement 3rd‑party developer APIs & tools.

  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with design, services, and engineering.

  • Develop, launch, and maintain cross‑platform features.

Required Skills:

  • Swift and/or Objective-C.

  • SwiftUI and/or UIKit.

  • MapKit, CoreLocation.

  • API design, system architecture.

  • Production iOS experience.

  • Strong communication.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s in CS.

  • Unit testing.

  • GIS / spatial visualization.

Details:

  • Location: Austin, TX – 100% onsite

  • Duration: 6+ months of contract on W2 or 1099 with possibility of extension

  • Work Authorization: USC
